2 years after his 'COVID misinformation' tantrum, Neil Young announced he was returning to Spotify. Joe Rogan 'welcomed' him back by openly mocking him. "Great to know you got some ethics.” Now it seems Young has backtracked & isn't returning.
Hmmm. I don't know what Spotify or Joe Rogan is (I'm assuming it's some kind of American entertainment "thing") but I think it's good that Neil Young changed his mind and decided not to knuckle under and return to it, whatever it is. Better if Young sticks with what works for Young and his personal principles and ethics, not with something that doesn't.

Old Neil Young is a parody of himself in his dotage - taking his marbles away for a second time. He may as well yell at the clouds now, too.

Spotify is a digital music service started by two Swedes, so it can be classified as Swedish. NY should ignore the blabbermouth, who does not own Spotify.
I did a search for "Neil Young" at Spotify, his music came up and I have added him to my "Library" and "Favs".
