Just a heads up to anyone who is thinking of taking it. There's a new report on the Dr. Susan Love website that the drug has failed to provide any benefit to breast cancer patients, and is being pulled from the arsenal.
It always came with a dangerous menu of possible side effects, anyway.
Unluckily, I lost faith in Dr. Susan Love when she said she didn't "do" bi-lateral mastectomies. Threw the book across the floor, I did! She has failed me actually on several counts.
I neither applaud nor condemn her offhand. My points stands regardless: I would not base my decisions solely on the advice of ANY one single doctor.
