I am not a doctor nor does my husband have Parkinsons desease, but I would guess you have made a good decision. Keep us posted..The radiation isn't really bad, just very tedious and long...

Awesome for the being easy on him. Life is hard enough without all the extra stress. My dad has Parkinson's and also has prostate cancer ,he is about to start radiation.has anyone with Parkinson's been through this? Did it make the Parkinson's worse ? What were the side effects what was your outcome?
God Bless

I haven't had it personally, but others have written about their experience with both ailments.

Of course, there are different strains of Parkinsons and well as prostate cancer, so your father's experience may vary.

I certainly can not answer about the combination of the two, but we have done the radiation and in our case, the side effects were minimal. Everyone is different. A lot will depend on the type of Parkinson's and how long your dad has had it, as well as his age. Good luck and please keep everyone posted on his progress.
