Insurance company contacted me. Said they are in agreement with the other insurance agency, will not pursue any claims. I am glad about that. I had no interest in putting a claim in for the accident either. However, they said they are just waiting for the police report to make a final statement. I am worried if that can affect me. The cop really couldn't make a decision of fault due to the vehicles being moved. However, he wavered towards the other side I felt during the meeting with the cop at the accident. He said no one was at fault. Said the other driver took a wide turn and I took a sharp turn. Will any of that evidence affect a claim against me?
Well no one was at fault. We had to move the car's out of the intersection accident happen at 4 cops didn't show til 8:30 at night called three or four times. Officer couldn't determine who was at fault due to vehicles being moved. Said if there was and a stop sign and there should be a stop sign be there then the other driver would be at fault.
Lesson 1. Pretty much everyone has a camera phone these days. Snap a bunch of pictures and take video if needed.

When it comes to at fault, the cops do not make that call. Its up to the judgement of the adjuster. The adjuster takes the statements provided by you and the other party and reads in info in the report to determine liability.
