talked to my cousin around 6:00 pm and she seemed to be doing ok and better than yesterday. It's been up and down with my aunt, one minute she's ok and the next she's not. She is still in ICU.
Got another update: My Aunt is better than yesterday the infection she had is gone but she still is not eating and she's very weak. They are trying to get her to drink liquids. Still no word on wether or not they will put in a feeding tube. She is still in ICU.
Thanks she's not 100% better maybe 25 % but I think she's gonna be in the hospital alot longer than she thinks. If she can't eat and she's weak that's not good plus she is refusing to eat as well.
Good news, She is out of ICU and in a step down unit. She is eating Jello and drinking clear broth. Good sign. Keep those prayers going because they work!
Now I find out last night she's not so good again, she cannot move her bowels. It's a crap shoot. One minutes she's fine and the next she's not. It's frustrating and my mom has not been able to actually speak to her sister because the doctors don't want her taking phone calls.
My Aunt now has 104 fever and they are trying to figure out where it is coming from, It might be a severe case of Pneumonia. Last few days she seems to be deteriorating a little more. My mom said to me if I get very sick "DO NOT LET ME SUFFER! I agree. We have it written in our living will that we do not want to be put on any sort of life support if we get terminally ill. Just give me pains meds and keep me comfy. My Aunt does not deserve to suffer, she told her daughter the other day "I have had enough".
