The odd thing is Parents could make it not only easier on themselves but
for their children to take care of everything too!
I was the only child.
My dad had money.
But refused to allow me to understand anything about his financial affaires.
When the court assigned me as his Guardian?
It was so overwhelming trying to figure it all out!
Plus the emotional heart ache of just seeing him in such a physical state
that I thought I was going to lose my mind.
Thank God I didn't have to work.
Because dad's well being and his finical affairs were my full time job for four years!
Being his only child I wanted to be with him at the nursing home as much as I could.
Which was about 3 to 4 afternoons a week.
I've learned many profitable lessons from all this.
And it's going to be very different for me and my only child.
