Can anyone please recommend a Assisted Living Facility/Long Term Care /Rehab in Northern NJ. Essex, Union, Warren, Morris are all considered. The quality of the place is the most important thing.
She was at Morris Hills Center in Morristown--it's part of of Genesis HCC. It's a horrible place. They are way understaffed. They feed my mother supplements instead of food. They never clean the room, etc.
She developed Institutional Pneumonia last week and insisted on treating her there instead of bringing her to Morristown Medical Center which is right across the street. I told them to admit her into Morristown hosipital. They refuses so I called the police and EMTs came and said she really belongs in a hospital. She already has respiratory distress with lug cancer and COPD.
Bottom line I don't want her back in Morris Hills upon discharge from the hospital, but I am having trouble finding a good place for her.
