Service in Houston, Texas that matches home care seekers (the patient) with qualified CNAs/caregivers/companions (family)

To anyone who lives in the Houston, Texas area --- are you familiar with an organization doing business in the Houston area who is a non-medical home care provider match-up service with patients who need care at home? I've worked in other geographic areas where the home care matching service screens all patients-clients and matches them with home care providers/caregivers/CNAs according to background, skill sets, education, training etc. so home care providers are a good fit for the patient. Note that this is not the usual "home care agency" like Home Instead, Visiting Angels, Right At Home etc. The home care provider reports directly to the patient and their family, and is paid directly by the patient and/or the patient's family. The matching service screens all care applicants, checks references, and a background check is required periodically.

Do any of you know of a similar service that serves the Houston, Texas area?

I don’t know of a business that does this, but you can do the matching yourself on a site like Care.com.
