My cat Hagrid always gets into the funniest positions while he grooms, and often sits "yogi style" with his back legs in front of him...I got some cute shots of him today so wanted to share and ask you guys to share some cute or funny grooming pics of your babies as well!
Oooooh! He's really a cutie!
I will now go and search for my camera, and then wait and not miss their evening grooming. Miss Suzie always has a special pose when grooming her hind legs and it reminds me of ballet exercise.
OH, be still my heart!!!! LUV, what an absolutely gorgeous cat Mr. Hagrid is! WOW! And I thought I had some beauties! Let's face it...................................
Felines are the most exquisite, mysterious, wondrous creatures alive! LOL LOL LOL
Thanks, everyone! Yes, Mr. Hagrid is gorgeous, and his personality is even more beautiful than his aesthetics...just a sweetheart through and through...not one mean bone in this guy, just love, love, love. To think that his previous owners dumped him because of a fractured leg at 3 months old...well, as they say, their loss was my gain, they missed out on a GREAT cat, and I'm thankful I was working at that E-vet center where he was left when I was, he's a total joy in every way!
Cute pictures. I do yoga, and think that I am a cat, when I am doing a really hard pose. That usually helps me get to the pose and hold it. I imagine to myself, and mantra, "I am a cat, I am a cat".

LOL I too do Yoga, and believe me, I do think of my cats in some particularly "challenging" poses, saying to myself.....if my cats can do this pose, then darn it, so can I!
I just took a whole series of Carly grooming herself and she, who is so camera shy. was totally oblivious that I was shooting. That's the wonderful thing about felines: they are so present for the moment.
