The Kitty Grooming Salon opens every night (or almost every night) at 9 p.m. Some of the customers are a little reluctant at times, especially during the pedicure sessions, but then we finish with a good fur brushing and a treat, and everyone is clean, beautiful and happy.
Except for Mom, who is covered with fur and wheezing ...

Here too, nightly "brushing". I put it in quotes because I don't use a brush, only my finger. I rub the c.e.t. enzymatic veterinary paste (available at most on line pet stores, amazon,or your vet) on their gums and teeth. It's definitely working!
You are using an enzymatic paste, such as c.e.t.? If the paste isn't enzymatic, it isn't doing much good. It is the enzyme action (breaks down bacteria) that cats need, rather than abrasive action.
