So, we're gearing up for the move here and I found a wonderful pet transport company who will drive Napoleon and Josie across the country. Now, I need to get something called a 'health certificate' from the vet and copies of their vaccinations. If I call the vet and schedule an appointment saying I need a health certificate for travel, will the vet know what I'm talking about? I don't know if I need to be more specific about that. Also, do vet offices keep copies of vaccinations in their files? I can't seem to find Josie's anywhere, which is not a good sign for how organized the move is thus far.
Yes, your vet should know what this is. Your vet should also have records of vaccinations on file. I know ours does because our vet has referred to dates/months before.
