Rene - did you know where to look for Tucker because someone saw him and called you? That's awesome!

Hey Kiacooked try not to panic too much, even though I was panicking like you for 2 weeks when my outside cat(who started to come in doors since last year to hang out with my inside cats) went missing! Like your cat, he didn't go missing for long, maybe 2 days the most, but 2 weeks?!?! I feared the coyotes got him, put up signs, walked the neighborhood shaking a bag of snacks and calling for him at 3:00am in the morning, eyed my neighbors to see if they taken him in but nothing. I don't know if this made any difference or not in making him want to come back home, but I heated up his cat food with some sardines in it and left it out for him. The first night I did it, nothing, but the 2nd night I did it, I found him later the next day that afternoon sleeping in front of my house and a plate of half eaten sardines.

People also said to sprinkle his kitty litter leading a trail back to your house or leave out your clothing with your scent on it for them. Goodluck!!
I've read some stories of cats being missing for months and return when they feel like it =)

Moonbdreamin - that is a great story. I have soft cat food I can heat up - some has tuna and other stuff he loves and I will put that out tonight. I'll also try shaking the treat bag while walking along where he might be hiding.

Checking up on you too--it was the worst feeling when my cats were missing and I really feel for you. Hang in there!

Don't know how to say this so will just say it Sammy is dead. I found his body in the green belt behind my house. He was only yards away from home, the grass and weeds were over grown and I couldn't see him till I went down there to put out food and call for him. He looks like he's been gone for a while. I couldn't tell what happened. He was in one piece. Oh I can't say more. I don't know what happened to him. He's gone. I'm devastated.

I am so very sorry. I can tell how much you loved him and are hurting. Rest assured, he had a good life and knew he was loved.
