I agree with the others, that a vet visit is in order. You didn't say how old she is, but no matter, she should have a blood panel run to rule out a health issue. Get her out of the ceiling, then block it, and get her checked out.

Cats hiding due to not feeling well usually don't want food and water.

Well I'm trying to get it to upload.

I sure hope she comes out tonight. I'll put tape u over the gap if I have to. I'm worried about that dust in her little lungs.

I don't care if it's 2AM. She wakes me up, she gets fed and watered. Tonight her last night up there. If I pursue her, she will hide more and that's not good, it's dangerous to have her up there any longer.

Don't they call that "nesting" a.k.a. kitty knows she is gonna pass away and wants to do so in peace? Dogs do that too?

Kitty wants her FOOD in the morning! She just can't be up in the ceiling anymore. Silly Missy!

It's hilarious that she sticks her head out and meows at you. I wonder what they are thinking when they do that. Is that like HI! or ???????????

Yes, she is a silly cat. Look at me, I have the best cool cat spot!

Maybe she say: Can we get some a/c and room service up in here? Toss up a toy or two, mate.

About to try food!

Here is pic 1 of that ceiling. Takes a really long time to upload!

I'm talking to her now, and gonna play a movie. Loud, roaring AC off. Kitty has to come down to see what all this activity is! Then she is BANISHED FR THE CEILING!

There is an AC unit that utilizes those side-splitting drier-like hoses and dumps any hot air to the outside.

Pic 2

Here is the window she can no longer get to, using her Super Mario Super Cat Hi-Jump skills.

The sooner she joins me down here, the better. Kitty spends the day up there, usually comes out at night but she is freaking me out this time..
