Two of my cats love to go onto the screened porch.....the hotter the better. It never gets direct sunlight but in the summer it does get hot, which they love.

This morning Monkey was scratching on the door to go outside - and he meant business.

I go to the door an open it (as per my job description) and he just stands there, I think in disbelief.
He'll be sleeping on the heater vents within a few minutes.

It's gonna be a long winter for these guys.

LOL

It's usually sunny in the winter here, but recently we've had several cloudy or rainy days in a row. My kitty just looks at me like, "So, turn the sun on already so I can go sit in the window!" Sadly, I tell her I cannot do that. But the upside is that she's spending more time in my lap

We have a screened porch too and our cats love the spring and fall when we have the door open. Our Ringo can't understand what happened when he tries to go out now. LOL

So far I am liking the decrease in temperature, because Shelly is spending more time snuggling up to me than she normally does, even with the heat on in the apartment. She's been sleeping on my bed for the last week, usually pressed up against my leg.

I think my cat blames me for the change in weather. Gives me the look when it gets too cold outside.
