Katrine why can't you take Rufus home? He looks like he needs you. What a sweet face.
We live in a 366 sq. ft apartment and my bf (whom I'm living with) wont allow me to have more cats until we move to a bigger place. Hopefully next year.
Also, the animal shelters in Norway have a different view on things. They think all cats should be outdoor/indoor cats. I will only let my cats stay indoors.

Tell you what. Bring Rufus home and put the boyfriend in the shelter until you get a bigger apartment.
One little cat doesn't take up any more space. You need to convince Rufus to let your bf stay with you guys.

LOL! Yeah, it's tiny tiny! It's actually not my apartment and I'm still studying and staying at his place for free I'm graduating next year, so after I get a job and have worked for perhaps 6 months, we'll get married, apply for a loan and have that dream house.
Then I'm "allowed" to have as many pets I want, hehe. I want 3-4 cats and a hamster in a safe cage, lol.
I've had that thought too, how could they possible know if I keep him inside, unless they check, but they haven't given me an impression of doing so.
