These are my 2 boys - Goober is the big one he's 14 the small one is Roberto, he's 5 months. Roberto was a humane society adoption that I made the mistake of holding at Petco early one Sunday morning This picture was taken after he had been with us about 2 weeks. I was in the room getting something when Roberto came running in, jumped in the litter box and starting going potty. Right behind him came Goober - he looked at Roberto and then got in and went as well. It as if he was telling roberto - do not run in front of me and use the litter box, when I have to go I HAVE to go! And yes there are 3 litter boxes for them to choose from so I am not sure what this was except for a Goober lesson! Roberto follows Goober everywhere, wants to sleep by him, eat his food, play it's really pretty darn cute, I haven't been around a kitten in 20 years( Goober showed up where I work when he was 2) so it's been fun, even though I have to remember they get into everything!!

Love the picture of the two of them in the litter box! Mine will go into the box at the same time too!

I also have one cat that will do a follow up check after one of the cats goes because he has issues covering his stuff up. The "Daddy" cat will go in afterwards and cover it up!! He has been so good with taking care of his brother with CH!!

Oh how I wish I had one of those. Two of my girls are very lax about covering their business, so I have to take care of it. That's on top of the normal 3 times a day I scoop the litter boxes. I had a talk with them about it one time, but they took offense and turned their ears off. So it didn't do much good.

I've read that not covering up is a sign of dominance. My male cats hardly cover up. The girls do.

Default Scooter

Scooter is aptly named - it's difficult to get a picture of him because he doesn't stay still long enough. Finally got this one when I was making the bed tonight. He used to visit us to play with our dog when they were both babies. When his original humans got a new dog he kept running away to our home until the dumb humans finally realized he had changed his address. He's been with us ever since
