Ah yes, that time-honored sport of "hoofing the cat". My husband does it when he is trying to get into the refrigerator. LOL
That is one persistent kitty. I don't think I have ever seen a kitty *quite* that friendly. The police officer certainly was a good sport about the whole thing. LOL
I wonder what happened to the kitten. It certainly is cute and friendly.
Yep, it's the farmer's kitten. It was wearing a collar with a bell.
I didn't know what was about to happen, of course, but as soon as the kitty came prancing into the shot, I said to my husband, "Now that's one happy kitty -- look at its tail way up in the air!" Little did I know!
That is really hysterical. That little kitty was moving really fast heading for the policeman. The guy was really a good sport about having that baby all over him. LOL.
Cute. But I guess I'm a skeptic...I think it is staged. The officer has no reaction to the cat climbing on him.
Seems like he's probably a kitty guy, as opposed to someone who hates cats and would freak out if one started climbing on him. I'm sure at first he thought the cat would just do what cats do, and rub around his legs. They kept cutting in and out of the dash cam video, though, so it's really hard to tell what his initial reaction actually was when the cat went from rubbing to actually climbing. His supervisor said he kept trying to just be professional, and he seemed to be really worried that if that video went public that he'd be in trouble for shooshing the cat away with his foot. I don't see why it wouldn't be real.
