With a staggering fortune of $13.5 billion, you would have thought Mark Zuckerberg would have learnt how to splash the cash long before now.
But more than three years after he became the world’s youngest ever self-made billionaire, the Facebook founder has finally got around to buying his very first house.
he's always struck me as being very low key and not the sort to throw money on high end cars and mansions. it's been mentioned a few times that he doesn't seem to be in it for the money or isn't looking to live like a billionaire
ugh, this kid is only a few days younger than me and already a billionaire! obviously, can't feel ashamed, he's an outlier.
side note: that picture makes him look like a vampire
Whew! I was SO wondering when he'd finally getting around to doing this.....it's been keeping me up at night. I'm looking forward to a good night's sleep now, knowing that Mr. Z has finally settled down and won't be wasting money on rent.

i am happy for Mark. social networking--wow--i don't use it. why would i want to meet possibly insane people from all over the world. i can meet the insane easily right here in my own community. i just stay away from most people--most get on my nerves a lot. especially the cell phone freaks--which is almost everyone.
I'm glad he waited to buy the right house for him; I think sometimes when you have a financial windfall, the first thing you want to do is buy a house without really thinking it thru. The house totally fits him.
I care about this even less than I care about Bristol Palin's plastic surgery.
Exactly. I couldn't care less what he does. Bristol Palin certainly has worn out her welcome. She's obviously trying to make the most of her mom's diminishing star power. Nothing extraordinary about her, she should be stocking shelves at Walmart somewhere in Podunk.
Mark's house looks like it would fit in well in my neighborhood.
Older 50's houses--slapped up for enlisted men after WW2--we have become gentrified. Many remodeled beautifully and new houses similar to the Victorian bungalows that went up in other areas around WW2 and we have a Villa. We do as we please---it works for me. Walking, running, dogs, strollers and bicycles---that is what we like.
whatever you think of that.
Houses are interesting--i am on a timeout from the House channel and the Food Channel. too much work to be done on my own house. when 'Mike' gets a chance --he can finish the front porch. lol--Contractors and home repair people stay busy here. I can't do that sort of 'stuff'---wish I could. Knock out a dry wall, rewire, replumb--it is interesting and time consuming and expensive.
