I swear, Johnny Depp is going to enter some weird threesome with Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton. It seems like he spent more time with those two than he did with his wife!

That does sound like it could be related. Some places are just wrong for people though they don't realize it. Hollywood seems to be toxic for a lot of people.
Of course the fact that they moved could indicated some underlying reason so the move was just the more obvious reason.

I never understood why Depp became so popular. He looks like a low-life creep, some second-rate loser in a third-rate Creature Feature. Very overrated IMO. No surprise here.
This is mostly about the power of 'young' women. When you are a Johnny Depp, you replace the older woman with a magical young hottie (Amber Heard at present, or another if desired).
