and his wife will serve a year after his time is done. Why do politicians, wealthy folks or celebrities think they are better than you & me when it comes to the law?

If you have the money by all means spend it but does Jesse Jr. (or anybody) really need a $45K watch? He'll have a reality show about all of this I'm sure once he gets out of prison.

Clearly, he thought he was above the law. As far as anyone else getting a $45K watch goes, whose business is it? I may think that it's a ridiculous, ostentatious expenditure, but it takes a lot of gall for people to opine that someone shouldn't get one because s/he doesn't "need it."

And, from what I saw on TV this morning, it appears that JJ Jr has accepted his sentence without making excuses. He as much as said he deserved it. That's pretty rare these days.

I didn't realize JJ Jr. was a celebrity. Oh, nevermind. He sure spent like a celebrity.

Carry on.

Btw, I never understand people like that, thinking no one will find out. What an idiot.

If it's made public knowledge then it is the public's business since he bought it using public campaign money. So it can be said it also takes a lot of gall for someone to condone purchasing outrageous items with public money can it not?

I know~ then get out trying to find a job. Here shoplifting is a class D felony I think they wanted to deter petty shoplifting but I don't think it deterred.

Lord I hope the voters are not that stupid but we as a country it seems keep putting the same foxes back in the hen house.
