Since the death of Paul Walker, it has come to light that he began dating his girlfriend at age 33, and she was 16. What do you guys think about this? It's my understanding that it wasn't illegal, but that's still very strange to me. A 33 year old man being interested in a teenager at that age seems a tad creepy. Do you guys feel the same way?

He was a celebrity, so rules don't apply to them. Rules only apply to common folks like you and me.
That's interesting. To be clear, I am not trying to bash the guy. I liked his movies, but that's a very big age difference that I don't see very often.
The ages of consent in North America for sexual activity vary by jurisdiction. All U.S. states set their limits between 16 and 18. Maybe they were dating without having sex? Maybe they waited till she got the legal capacity to consent to sexual activity? Obviously it was OK with her mother, so why it bothers you?
I believe she is 23 and he was 40 and they had been seeing each other for a few years.
