I thought that was much ado about nothing. Both Jackson's over-the-top reaction and the interviewer's apology were ridiculous.

After all, people confuse celebs all the time. Didn't we just have a Separated At Birth thread?

Samuel L Jackson should be the one embarrassed here. His reaction was over the top ridiculous. Show a little class. But I don't expect much from him, being a former member of the Black Panthers.
I don't know how you mix up Jackson and Laurence Fishburne. The two look nothing alike.

The reporter was trying to be spontaneous, which reports who sit and read copy written by someone else, can't do. The whole thing was pretty funny actually.

Don't you know who I am!

Producer should have just cut the feed, that was bad TV. No one was a winner.

Comedy gold. Samuel Jackson has always been like that so of course he was going to go on an epic rant. Classic.

Come on people, because the comment was about two actors who are black it had to be racist?

Who in their lives hasn't had someone they knew claim they saw their identical twin somewhere? It happens all the time but because the people spoken about where black, all the racists came out to claim racism and that good people, is the real ugly truth here.

The reporter made a mistake, maybe read the wrong copy or honestly goofed up. However, those who jumped up and claimed racism are the racists.

LOL! Sam Rubin has always been stupid, that's why he's been stuck as a local entertainment reporter all these years
