She never stars in any movie with a man as a romantic lead. She's always the Woman in Flight, running from some evil man. How did she think we couldn't tell?
There was never any romantic man in her life in the headlines. It was plain for all to see.

and the difference this makes is?????????????
Jodi Foster is one of the MOST talented actors in hollywood.REGARDLESS of which way she goes......
ALTHO....there was one movie, made right after she graduated and set during WWII where she, as a French woman, used a TOTALLY East Coast US accent..[Le Sang des autres] ....but I dont count that one.

Guess you never saw Anna and the King, or Sommersby. Both as romantic lead to men.
Or movies such as Nell, or Contact with no bad man in sight.
Stop stereotyping. She is a great actress who takes on interesting roles that stretch her abilities rather than an endless list of same old same old, take your clothes off crap. I like her and don't care about her personal life, she has kept it private and deserves the courtesy of being treated with respect.
