It's just so sad that she and Julian had financial issues despite having been married to John. Yoko really treated Julian like crap. He is supposedly using the money he had to fight her for to purchase his father's items she's auctioning off rather than offer to him.
She certainly put up with a lot. Apparently Beatles manager Brian Epstein wanted John and Cynthia to keep their marriage secret since he thought it would be better if fans thought all the Beatles were single. Before their TV debut on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964, he knew it would slip out, so there as a close-up of John, with the words, "Sorry, girls; he's married."
