He's not been well for quite some time.. My god.. I didn't realize it has been 15+ years since he was in movies, and really.. 25 years since a substantial movie role.

He hasn't been the same since losing his beloved Gilda. I think a part of him died when she did.

(And I'm glad to see the link in the original message refers to him as something other than Willy Wonka!)

He had pretty much left acting in his later years, but this is still really sad. What an awesome comedic presence.
