It's her personal choice. It's someone she loves and has long considered a father figure. She's apparently able to set aside her feelings about the accusations (whatever they may be) and support a loved one. I don't have a problem with it. It's got to be a difficult position to be in. I've got no reason to judge her harshly.

It was dropped along with the spinoff A Different World when the accusations started being believed by the public. Then the BOUNCE network looking for content not being used by TV ONE and Aspire picked it up and the shows are back on many syndicated networks

It does make you wonder. I can see where she might have affection for him--she was young when she played the part--but w/ everything that's come out, the evidence against seems so solid and profound.

It's still a tough conflicted position to be in. It's possible to recognize that someone is deeply flawed and vehemently hate the acts they've committed, but still love the person. It's more common in immediate family relationships, but he basically was a father to her during her formative years.
