Come on Jerry, you couldn't give a fan and fellow celebrity Kesha a hug? If it was Andy Dick asking for a hug I could understand the reaction. : )

I don't blame him, he was doing an interview and he didn't know who Kesha was. Plus I've heard he's a germsphobe.

Hmm...this kinda puts The Kiss Hello episode into a whole new light...

Is he really that much of a germaphobe that now he can't even hug either, or is he just a delicate genius?

(sorry folks, couldn't pass that one up).

He doesn't hug total strangers. Nothing wrong with that.

It's a New Yorker thing.
If you've ever been there, you get it.
Huggers in New York? Rare breed!

D.Scott, you must be one of those rare birds or a transplant.

Need a hug? Go down South!

Y'all remember that there was a sign on the wall of the writers area of Seinfeld that said, "No hugging. No learning"?

Remember on one episode of Seinfeld, Kramer wanted everyone who lived in the building to wear name tags and greet each other? I don't remember if hugs were involved.

Jerry Seinfeld doesn’t understand why the world is in an uproar for denying Kesha a hug.

i do remember that episode! i love me some seinfeld (show).

i don't know if the world is "in an uproar" over this kesha hug thing. to me, it was just funny. his reaction, her reaction. funny.

but, i do understand his point of view. just because he is a celebrity doesn't mean celebrities should be expected to hug strangers. if they want to and are ok with it, then great! but if they aren't comfortable with it, i think there is nothing wrong with that either. he shouldn't be made to feel like he has to hug someone if it makes him uncomfortable for whatever reason. except grandma. you should always hug grandma.
