Are there any boomers who didn't watch the mod squad when we were kids? I doubt it! Julie barnes was the "it" girl.

She was 72.

Julie Barnes of Mod Squad.

Loved that show...I have 4 of 5 seasons on DVD.
First three seasons were best.

She was married to uber talented musician/producer Quincy Jones.

She had it all, jewish, smart, talented, and pretty well into middle age.

She met and hung out with Paul McCartney in 1965 when the Beatles were
in the Los Angeles area, renting a mansion in the Hollywood Hills.
You can google pics of them together.

I had such a girl crush on her growing up. I totally tried to emulate her looks all through high school.

She really was an avatar for female beauty in the late 60's and early 70's.
