Singer Jimmy Rodgers (Honeycomb, etc) has died at 87. He had kidney diseases and tested positive for COVID-19. Story in the NY Times.

Wikipedia article on Jimmy Rodgers.

I still love to hear some of his best songs: Honeycomb; Kisses Sweeter than Wine; Secretly; Uh Oh I'm Falling in Love Again.

I can't believe no one replied to your thread. He's before my time but I've probably heard his songs on the local easy listening radio station my dad listened to at work. I don't have speakers on my computer.

What an impressive obituary. Sad that the cops beat the cr@p out of him. settling for $200,000 was a lot of money back then.
