Sadly, another great actor lost.

Though he is known better to many as "that undertaker of a man" Spicer Lovejoy in Titanic, his performances as Cardassian Gul Madred in Star Trek:The Next Generation's Chain of Command, parts I and II, made a more indelible impression on my mind.

RIP, sir....you will be missed.

"Time After Time" with Mary Steenburgen. Many other supporting roles.

I saw him in a fairly early role the other night in "The Ballad of Cable Hogue". I almost didn't recognize him because his face was, uncharacteristically, cherub-like and rounded.

That was him? The Reverend who redressed the young, distressed bride as she prayed with her husband?

Granted, I haven't seen the flick in ages and in all likely hood, I probably didn't see him before his first, to me, recognizable work in "The Omen"........but then again, lots of head and facial hair does wonders to hid one's appearance.

He was perfect n "Ladies in Lavender". This is a little known, but wonderful film starring Judi Dench and Maggie Smith and a very young Daniel Bruhl. One of my favorite films, in fact.

Two nights ago I was working on downloading my main Apple Music song library to an additional device, and while downloading the Cat Stevens albums in my library, for some reason, I was thinking about the song, Lady D'Arbanville, that he wrote about Patti D'Arbanville (his ex-girlfriend).
