Thanks for all the wonderful memories! You were an absolute joy to watch, and a good person from what I've seen in later years on the 'net. Rest in Peace. So sorry for your long struggle at the end (cancer). Condolences to your family and friends.

He announced he had cancer a few months back as I recall. So, sad to say, not a complete surprise.

Now his death is not recorded in Wikipedia, while it was a few hours ago. Strange.

I was just thinking of him today as I occasionally watch the show on FETV. I knew he had cancer evidently it was pretty advanced. RIP his show is definitely a classic. He was sort of a big brother to all of us.

He's not dead, yet. Just saw something about it.

I'm seeing now after I had posted my other reply. That he is not dead but in Hospice care.

According to Wikipedia , LITB never finished its five reasons in the Top 30 during its original run. So it wasn’t a big hit, but neither was it a flop. “The Brady Bunch” had similar ratings. They only became influential after going into syndication and being broadcast weekday afternoons to kids coming home from school.

In other news, Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead.

Nice job there, management team.
