No, i'm not going to argue this one with anyone.. lol.. Just my opinion.. I always got more laughs from Jerry's portrayals than from Dick's. And I'm leaving the entire "Coach" character out of this as I didn't watch that show other than catching it here or there.
Jerry did one hell of a guest spot on My Name is Earl a few years back..
I do remember him even though he was the less famous one. I think they were both funny but I can't really remember specific things about each one. Wasn't Dick Van Dyke more of a physical gag type guy whereas Jerry was kind of a comedic timing type guy?
I'm so glad to see him looking and speaking so well at the age of 97. I remember watching reruns of the Dick Van Dyke show when I was a kid. He's always had such a wonderful sense of humor.

Yes, but.. I dunno.. There's just something so limiting about the way you said it.
You're not WRONG.. But, both of them were/are so much more than that.
FWIW.. If i'm not mistaken, isn't Dick married to someone like 40-50 years younger than him?
What was limiting about my comment? I was simply making the distinction that they have (had) different styles of comedy. They're both funny. I thought I made that clear. It is true that Jerry Van Dyke was the less famous one. Doesn't mean that he was worth any less than his brother.
As for him being married to a much younger woman, he's long done that. Is that relevant here?
