No doubt in my mind that's what caused it but then like you say, who knows? Drugs and booze don't mix...I feel bad for her family...to die like this a few days before Christmas. May she RIP..
While heart attacks CAN happen at any time, a young, slim person is not a typical victim. Not to say she did not have some hidden heart disease (like that ice skater about 20 years ago - I actually did know a 28 yo man who died from the same thing so I do know if happens). Like it or not, many young celebrities do engage in risky behaviour so that guess is not just something out of the blue. Whichever way, does not make it any easier on her family. So sad.

She could've been a cigarette smoker using hormonal contraceptives, too, for all we know, which also carries a high risk of heart attack.
Maybe she was a diabetic, which is also a risk factor for heart attack.
Since no one knows, I just think it's kind of crass to speculate, let alone speculate that because she was a celebrity that it was likely drug related.
I'm guessing OD or anorexia, based on her skinniness compared to her more normal weight in Clueless. Also the unsavory rumors about her husband's line of business - there was a blind item not too long ago about an actress who married her dealer; many thought it was about Brittany. All the same, RIP.
