You have two options. Both require Android phones and having 'share my location' enabled.
The best option is to use the MyTracks app. Google makes it. I think it is only available on android. You hit one button to start recording a track and then when you tell it to stop it asks you to name the track, describe the route and then asks if you want to upload the location data to your google account. Uploading enables you to look at your route online on Google Maps, or import it into Google Earth.
It is missing a few features (like automatically giving you mile splits), but its a pretty good program for the most part.
Your second option is to log in to your google dashboard and look at your historical location data. I have used this to try and figure out what days I went to a certain mall, or where I went to lunch 32 weeks ago. Amazing and creepy at the same time.
