I'm not sure why you are so confused by this.

I need to ask though, did you get permission from your employer to use their electricity to charge your personal phone?
Oh please, no one needs permission to charge a phone when they are at their desk.

I have about 5. Home office has a couple (I charge various items, not just my smartphone, but also my computer headset), bedroom, car, a couple tucked away in case my cat chews through a few cords.

Ugh. Cord chewing.

I just spent $80 on a new power adapter for my laptop because my pet decided that the old one looked tasty, and of course chewed through the cord that's permanently attached to the brick instead of the one that's easily removable.

If you charge your phone to 100% before you leave the house then why would you need a charger for the car? I would think you would just need the other charger once you arrive at work since your phone will already be fully charged when you leave the house.

You don't have a car (do you even drive?) but people who travel in their cars a lot need, usually, a car charger.

This is especially true if one travels through places where there is no cell signal so the phone keeps searching for a signal.

Or for those who have hands free Bluetooth (which really drains the battery) and use their traveling time talking, whether just chatting or actually taking care of issues.

See, I don't understand why you would need a charger at work if you're not supposed to be using your phone while there.

A better use of this thread would be asking other obviously silly questions like this

How many pairs of pants do you need? Perhaps the OP only has two.
