I hate the way my phone stores a picture in the "Photo Editor" area once I edit it. Whoosh! Gone! THEN I can't find the "Photo Editor" place without shutting my phone off! It's ridiculous! When I go to "Gallery" or "Camera" through the apps or just on the camera icon itself, all I get is the original picture. The page with the choices of Uploads, Photo Editor, etc. doesn't show up until I restart my phone, and then go to "Gallery". What's up with that????
Any suggestions?

The pic you editted becomes a new picture file. You still have the original but the editted one is now a new picture file that you have to browse to using the gallery.
Download an app like ES File Manager then you can browse directly to the photos folder and you should be able to find the file and it should say editted at the end.

I know the edited pic is now a new picture file, but I can't get to it it by using the gallery. That's my question! I know WHERE it is, and I've been able to find it before, but now it won't go to that "page", unless that's the last page I've been on. Then if I go back to "Camera", it won't go back to the Photo editor page.
Sounds like my phone has developed a quirk.
No, sounds like you're missing something somewhere. Like a BACK click or something. On mine I have to swipe in from the left to get the "ALL FOLDERS" view back which takes me to the top level of the photos folder.
Stan, you have an S6? Maybe you could Step-by-step here?

Yes S6 Active.
Okay, let's say I take a video. Then I want to edit video. And I do so within the actual Gallery video. The new video is then put into a newly created folder which is still under the gallery heading. Any picture that I had it either stays within the same Gallery subfolder next to the original picture or moves to an edited folder in the Gallery.
That does sound like how it SHOULD work, Stan, and like I said, I CAN get to photo editor, but only after I shut it off and restart. I suppose I'll have to take it in....

Gallery, Photo Editor, and Camera are 3 different apps. Camera always shows you recent taken shots and the Gallery shows you all of the photos in the picture folder and Editor allows you to pick a photo from the Gallery.
You need to go to Gallery and click on the top left corner and change the filter and switch it to Time instead of Album.
