So first the pixel and now the pixel 2 and 2 XL,

Pixel 2 owners are complaining of high-frequency noises coming from their smartphones
It's the second major flaw; the Pixel 2 XL is experiencing screen burn-in issues, too
It might be wise to hold off on buying either phone for now

They got some more ways to go to learn how to produce quality phones, sometimes relying on vendors like LG is not the best way.

I did play with the phone and have mixed feelings about it, they can fix all of this with a big price cut. For now $849 is a difficult selling price.

I bought the Pixel last November and have mostly been very pleased with it’s performance. The monthly updates (even on my Verizon carrier model) have been quite timely and it works very smoothly and quite fast. It’s really too bad the newer models are having all kinds of issues. Maybe in a few months they will work out all the kinks. Sometimes it’s better to wait for these things to be resolved.

The only issue I have to date with my Pixel XL is that my cell reception through Verizon isn't as good as it was with my Droid Turbo 2. Verizon of course doesn't acknowledge that where I once had 4 bars of service inside my home and now have to rely on wifi calling to be an issue, but I digress.

Other than that the Pixel has been fine for me. No real issues to complain about.

It's a shame because it could have been the perfect phone, besides the design.
