Just as the title suggests, my contacts are gone. Actually, maybe a dozen are still there. Which makes me feel that I did not push the wrong button at the wrong time.

I have tried to restore and whatever google directs towards that problem but it seems they are gone. Why is there still several remaining ? is this something from outside messing with my phone ?

ConsumerCellular Motorola moto g and I've been on this service since last Christmas, just over a year.

You can check from a computer. Login to the same account you have on your moto and go to this page. By default, assuming you are logged into a google account, your contacts are saved to this account.

https://contacts.google.com/

If they don't appear on your moto, you phone could be logged into a different account or no account at all.

yes, thanks. But it appears and when I follow your suggestion, that since a few were left, those are my contacts (that appear). and the other hundreds are not.

gguerra - after looking further, I thinks I FOUND THEM ALL and recovered them. (of course, they were in 'trash' and as a last resort, I checked). THANKS MUCH !
