Can someone tell me exactly how this works? I know that someone puts in a referral through their Verizon account online, but not sure what happens from there.
Does Verizon send an email with a link that the person is REQUIRED to use to sign up? Or can the person referred go to a Verizon store, or other store, and sign up and everyone still gets the referral?
The reason that I'm asking is that I am considering getting the enV3 phone (I'm changing from Sprint), but the price at Best Buy is $30 cheaper
than through Verizon directly!!! Yeah, I know that I would have to take into account the activation fee from BB, but basically it would end up only being $6 more to go through BB, and I would actually leave the store with the phone in my hands rather than having to remember to order on a Friday or Monday (for free activation and free next business day shipping) and praying that I get it before I leave for a 3 week vacation. Thinking peace of mind is worth the 6 bucks.
BTW, anyone know if BB ever has free activation???
