I have Verizon and I own a LG Dare phone, only a few months old. I have noticed that there are time I get an echo on my phone. I was leaving a message for someone today and got it, and it was so loud it distracted me from what I wanted to say. What can I do about this?

If the phone is only a few months old I would contact your provider and ask for a replacement. My cell is 2 years old and it is just know echoing from time to time which in most cases indicates the cell is going bad.

It might not be the cell phone. It could be something within the network or the cell site. A few years ago I was getting an echo on my phone a few times a week. I called and complained and they said there was a trouble ticket open due to echos for one of the cell sites that I frequently use. They must have fixed it because soon after that the echoes stopped.

Sometimes too, you can be talking to someone who is using a headset and your voice picks up on their mic as you speak. I talked to someone last night who uses one of those type of headsets and every time we talk, my voice picks up on their mic because its so close to the earpiece and comes back to me. Its weird but usually thats the case.
