Chrome- I noticed that video a few weeks ago and started ticking off the locales I recognized.

Between Hootie going country and Gwyneth Paltrow having a country song with that sounds kinda like Jodee Messina with Vince Gill backgrounds my head is spinning.

What I learned:

A. Darius is missin' his lady.

B. The area around the Battery (Tradd, Rainbow Row) has some neat, selcuded gardens.

C. The new Cooper River Bridge is a turd ( looks-wise) compared to the now-toasted, Grace and Silas Pearman.

D. The best views left in Charleston are those looking out towards the Harbor.

I'm so curious.. Where did they do those scenes overlooking the city with the sailboats? Was that from the high point of the bridge? Looked like an oleander bush in the background.. Maybe a rooftop? Anybody know?

Very nice video of Charleston's most beautiful sites.. loved it. Esp. loved my favorite alley to walk in downtown.

I understand that was from the rooftop of the condos in Waterfront Park, not sure though.

Could be.

Damnedest thing is I've been exactly where those shots were taken from- that balcony, or whatever.

Long ago.

But then, I've been allover that bloated little cowtown, so quien sabes?

Naw, the angle is well within the 90' max for the historic district that ABR has imposed since the 60's.

It's a balcony, rooftop for some building down by E.Bay/High Battery.

I'll figure it out-given enough time.
