Hey there, first timer. I am thinking of moving to the Charleston area to be closer to family. I run a successful online lit. journal and am curious what sort of literary/publishing house/magazine outfits exist around Charleston.

Is there much of a scene? Mostly focusing on local info & tourism? Any resources for writers and editors worth mentioning?

I am not so much worried about employment as I am about networking and diversity.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot!

-Ryan

There are tons of networking groups in and around the Charleston area. Look into meetup.com for a small sampling.
