I ate with him at Parson Jacks and the thing I liked about their burgers is you could have them cooked any way you want them. Where I live, it's a regulation that restaurants can't serve you a burger cooked under Medium Well.
I had an Elk Burger at Montreux tonight, medium Rare just the way I like it, the DW was next door at PPQ in her quilting class.....

That's how I like them too - occasionally we'll get a burger that's pink to red at home by mistake. We're always grateful. When we order, we tell them - as rare as you will cook it. Curses to Jack In The Box for that.

I was not impressed with the Charleston Burger Company. I believe they use Bubba Burgers and I just didn't care for it at all.

We went to the MP Sesame Burgers and Beer on board recommendations tonight. Yum!! The restaurant staff seemed really disorganized, but service was good.
I had the Burger in a Bowl, which was kind of hard to eat, but it was still delicious.

Yup, it was basically a salad with a burger patty sitting on top, with some melted cheese and bacon bits sprinkled on top. I was feeling guilty for eating most of a bowl of amazing fresh guacamole, so I thought I'd go bunless.

I'm glad you liked Sesame Burger, Roxanne! I agree about the staff being disorganized; seems like not enough waiters for the tables? It was slammed the 2nd time we were there, and it took a while for our order to get taken, but both the waiter and manager came over and apologized, and sent a plate of their awesome hush puppies while we waited!

The bunless burger is a great option for those doing a low carb diet, or diabetics; or those who had too much guacamole! .

Went to the Boulevard Diner on James Island yesterday and had the Pimento Burger with Jalapenos. It was the best burger I have had in a long time!!! If you get it, make sure you ask for extra napkins though.

I often do a burger in a bowl at home. Okay I just use a regular old plate but I go bunless and just pile on the works. I rarely eat a burger out and about because -- like a steak -- it's one thing you can make at home and it can taste even better than restaurant!.
