You don't need to be looking for someone local, necessarily. I would look online at some of the job boards and see which recruiters are posting jobs in your field, then contact those companies.

Information assurance with security clearance...

I have leads from dice and have years of contracting experience. However, I'm looking for a US citizen /w ties to the local area. I'm looking to be an FTE with a local company.

Can't say more without making this a personal advertisement.
