Just wanted to say thanks to all the forum members that took the time to respond to my posts over the last few weeks. We moved in to our new town home at the Heritage in Dunes West last weekend and couldn't be happier. All the great suggestions as to how to show the area off to my parents worked out great - they were so impressed by our new home town that it really calmed them down about us moving away. They've even planned a trip to come back in July already
Special thanks to DJ Shymansky for putting me in touch with a GREAT rental realtor, and to the person who recommended Troubadour's, where I'm currently typing from

Congrats! I knew Josh could help you out. You'll love it, now get outside and hit the beach.

I would love to come to the meetup, but it is at the same time as my neighborhood's "meet your neighbors" event. Maybe we'll just leave early and head over. The only thing is, we would have to bring our daughter, since we don't have sitters yet. I don't know how acceptable that would be by the others... She's very well behaved, but I know some people enjoy their "adults only" time

I can't remember OTC's baby age but he's really a kid - walk, talk and no diapers... probably about the same age

I'm pretty sure my teens will be with me this weekend.. They will likely sit apart from the group, but I don't think I can get away with going to Juanita's without them.
In fact, you guys are lucky I'm not bringing my dogs too!
They are feeling left out, I'm sure.

Glad you are enjoying your new home, and that the visit was a success. I'll keep checking in on CD while we are there, so if you decide to head over and want to be sure we're still there just post in the meet up thread.
