Do you have any stores in the area with something similar to it? It's a store that sells gently used name brand clothes for the younger crowd. Brand Name Gently Used Clothing - Plato's Closet

Thanks Robynn. I saw that in another thread and the reviews didn't seem to good. It seems the clothes are overpriced and not in the best shape. Do you know of any others? Usually jeans are $20 or less and tops $8 or less that we're used to.

There is a Plato's Closet in N. Charleston across from Northwoods Mall. It's in the same shopping center as Toys R Us.

Unless it closed... I did see the sign still there the other week.

Also, there are a couple of stores called Once Upon a Child that go up to size 16 or so.

Both of the Goodwill stores in MtP and West Ashley are pretty good. I do a lot of thrift store shopping and I like to hit those. Some of us went thrifting last night at the West Ashley Goodwill and the Helping Kids with Cancer thrift store. I got 2 Hollister shirts from the Goodwill and my friend got an awesome bread maker at the Helping Kids with Cancer store. I'm not sure what you mean by younger crowd but I'm 27 and have been thrift store shopping since college and Goodwill is always the one I hit .

Yes, I love the Goodwill. It's hit or miss there for name brand clothes. My daughter has a tough time finding her size there. She's a size 1. Must be nice.

Great, I'll check into that. I went to their website but didn't see anything. It would be nice. I googled it and found it but nobody is answering the phone. Apparently they closed according to Toys R Us.

There are a LOT of brand named clothes at the Goodwill in Mt. P. I have bought clothes from Talbot's and Jones of New York with tags still on them at that Goodwill.
