T-Rav files signatures to take on Lindsey Graham in November election | The Battery | Charleston City Paper

Well, with T-Rav's fame against a much liked incumbent like Lindsey, this should be a very interesting race to watch! Let the Blue Blood fly!

Well -- maybe God has forgiven him like he forgave Mark Sanford -- so that means we all should forgive and give him another chance.

For me it's not about forgiveness ... it's about not having a dumazz in charge.

One is a felon, one is not. To me, that's the primary difference. I've never been one to give two hoots on what someone does in their private life. However, when that crosses over into illegal and thus jail time, I tend to not want to have them as my elected representative. But really, at the end of the day, it's because Thomas Ravenel is a moron that would make me never vote for him.

We've all done illegal things. Not sure why one particular action or vice, for that matter, makes the man for some. I'd like to hear his platform before jumping to any conclusions, but I am not against voting for him.

So once a felon -- no matter the crime -- you are done.

What happened to rehabilitation, making mistakes, etc.

I'm curious to see how he does in the campaign but I don't think he has a hope of winning against Graham.

I really could care less if he used cocaine or pot or whatever.. all felonies are not created equal. I would be floored if he even made a dent in Graham's returns.
