It's no way to sell real estate, that's for sure. Obviously I don't know the OP. Maybe he (or she) is someone who respects the scientific method and understands how strong the research is behind global warming. But even if the OP wanted to make a bet against rising sea levels, there is no reward.
If I told you that there was a 50% chance the house you're buying will be flooded within the next 30 years, you'd probably scoff at me for asking you to pay full price. You'd want 50% or more knocked off the price to compensate for the risk. Actually, the "risk" of science being correct is far higher than 50%, so it's even more of a lousy bet to pay full price for a vulnerable property now.
There will be a price correction at some point for properties that will be flooded frequently and eventually will be uninhabitable. When it happens, it won't be pretty. Anyone who believes that scientists generally know what they're talking about should think twice.
