Do you guys know where the future tiny house village in Mt Pleasant will be built? I heard that the town approved to let tiny house owners settle their houses in a park somewhere. Thank you.

The new impact fees will cost more than the house.

All the above comments are code for -- forget about it -- no park in Mt. Pleasant for tiny hoes. Buy a 250K lot And plop it down....

Darn, you beat me to it!...I think a new hydrocarbon burning power plant, a new federal prison and a new trailer park for "tiny homes" all have about the same chance in MP.

I've not heard about a specific "park" in Mt P for tiny houses but there are some around here. I believe there is one in the I'on neighborhood in Mt P. I have a client who is looking to build a small enclave of tiny homes in the area but it's definitely difficult to find the land where it would be allowed/accepted partly due to local zoning and building codes.

The concept wouldn't work for me but I know it does for some folks. I have a few friends who've lived for years on boats which seems a similar lifestyle.
