Default Fun for New Years Eve?

Gonna be in town for New Years Eve... anything fun to do? I saw the Aquarium Ball but $125 a ticket is a bit much for me right now. Looks a little stuffy from the photos I saw on the website anyway.

Thanks!

Most of the things downtown are going to be expensive, The Charleston Place has a great party....

Most of the Clubs downtown do a big shindig for about $50/person.

$50 a person won't break the bank.

What club do you recommend for someone in their late 30s? I've never been to any clubs in the past when I visited.

Thanks for the link.

80s new wave would be my first choice but not sure if I can find that in the low country.
